one thing that really bothered me is that i was unable to lose weight with vegan....i think i know why....i have a sweet tooth so i ate one vegan dessert a day...yes, they're good for you but guess what? they have beaucoup calories! so i go cool it with the desserts. bummer! ;(

Almond milk
2 cups Lettuce
¼ cup cabbage
1 Tbsp Coconut oil
1 Tbsp chia seeds
pinch stevia

1 cup small diced Persian cucumbers
3/4 thinly sliced celery
1 tbsp olive oil
lemon juice
sea salt
mint
I think the biggest misconception about going vegan is that people will lose weight. It's still about calories and a vegan diet does not eliminate high calorie foods, carbs, fats, etc. In fact people tend to eat more of these foods to compensate for the meat they are not eating.
